Abstract
The article discusses selected letters from two important members of the Monastic School of Gaza, Saint Barsanuphios and Saint John. It analyses the letters to demonstrate the presence of a particular solidary spirituality within these sources, arguing for the serious influence of this spiritual tradition on posterity.
